Does egg size increase with "practice" - New laying hens

I have new laying hens, only started about 2 weeks ago. Their eggs are quite small. I'm guessing that with "practice" the eggs will slowly increase in size. Is that right?

Yes, they will get bigger. Pullet eggs are always rather small. As they get into the routine the eggs will increase in size.

Okay thanks! I'm a first timer, so I was wondering if we were just gonna have very very small omlettes!

Those first eggs are small, but aren't they beautiful? I keep the those little first eggs in a carton by themselves. I have people with children that love to get them. I sell them at a cheaper rate, but I have people that fight over them because their children love them. They are the perfect size for kids and fit easily in their hands. However, those eggs will start getting bigger fast! They are little promises of whats to come.
