I am stressing out because I had a rooster in my flock that has this leg, I thought it was just broken but I’m not sure if it is mareks now. I am worried about my chickens that I am bringing to fair in a week now.

I found him in the road nearby, there are no other chicken owners really around so I’m not sure where he came from. No I haven’t but I will go and look at the store today.I responded on your other thread about this rooster:

Have you started him on the super B complex tablets yet? It can be hard to know whether he is injured, has a B2 riboflavin deficiency, or Mareks. I would read the article in the other thread about Mareks, and her is another one:

Was he in a flock with other roosters before, where he might have gotten picked or or fought? The sciatic nerve in the leg can be injured sometimes, and that can look like Mareks. It can take a week or two for B2 to help if there is a deficiency, but if he has been like this for awhile, it might not help. But it is worth a try. B Complex can be found in Walgreens and WalMart on sale sometimes for around $5. Let us know how he gets along.
