Dog Pen Conversion?

Ok! I have decided to take down thre Dog Panels and sell them. I will then build a Chicken run after a lot of thought. My goal is to build it mouse proof so that should work. I've been a General Contractor for over 30 years so I think I can handle this. I really didn't realize a chicken run & coop needed to be so tight, but I am not taking any chances

Don't forget the electric fencing or wire!

Keeps the predators from getting close enough to squeeze under the fence.

My neighbor just lost 5 pullets to the fox who squeezed under a half inch gap at the bottom of the run.

The electric fence went down for a short while and I guess the fox was able to hear the humm of the fence charger go off.

Put a strand or two of electric wire a few inches above the ground. That's what i would do, simple, and effective!
