Doing anything with your flock for Christmas?

I got them a flock block-style wreath. It's designed to hang. They loved it when I held it, and promptly pronounced it too much work when I hung it. Oh, well, I guess I gonna have to spend more time out there with them!

I gave them some bread. I haven't given them any of that in months. I hand pieces to my roo, and he hands them off or drops them for the ladies. I need more treats that I can do that with, so that I interact with him in a positive way more often.

Maybe I could make some "cookies" out of mash. Mash is the treat I give them nearly all the time.

I gave my chickens a lettuce pinata, pomegranate, and cooked wheat berries today!

I fed mine sardines once and they went nuts! I gave it as a treat to distract them from the styrofoam (long story).

Why do chickens like Styrofoam so much??! I've never had a PROBLEM but make a point of keeping it away from them because they go to town on it.

Hey yall do you do anything with your flock for Christmas? I showed my hen a shiny golden stocking and she grabbed it and ran away with it dangling from her beak. They will all get special treats for Christmas like grapes and corn and peas. Any traditions you do with your flock?

I also gave my chickens grapes!

Thanks! I saw the idea years ago. Not much nutrition but they have fun making a mess of it. Pomegranate was a bigger hit.
