Dominiques to be determined

They're roos, right? I've only had them for a couple weeks, so I don't know the exact age.

Yay!!! I was hoping so. I was bracing myself for the bad news, just in case. It seems like overnight, their bars got larger.

I agree I believe pullets. I have about a hundred Dominique’s. Love them. Have kept them for years.

I've been calling them pullets all this time but after hearing my Tsc "barred rocks" were both male... it made me question all of them. I think my two new cochins are male too.
This makes me so hopeful.
When comparing their barring (the tsc boy with the dominique)

... I got so sad thinking I was wrong this whole time.

Where did you get the Dominiques from? With the way that cockerel's barring breaks up on his neck I'm wondering if he's not a Black Sex Link cockerel instead of Barred Rock.

I got the doms from a breeder. The "barred rocks" came from a bin at Tractor Supply. There were only two left. My friend felt sorry for them and got them. I may be able to find what they looked like when she picked them up
