Double Checking - Roo or Pullet?

How can you tell or think that they are roo's?

#2 has no tail and stands like a roo and for that age of a bird the comb is very pronounced. It just looks rooish to me. I could be wrong but that's my honest guess.

Thanks for replying

All except #2 are 12 weeks old.
#2 is only about 8 weeks and is a barred rock cross. All the other barred rock crosses we've had from the hen rooster combination seem to be sex linked - with the barred ones all being hens and the white ones being roos.

#3 is Remington - the Shaver cross and we're pretty sure hes a Roo - getting the curling tail feathers now.

The one I was puzzled about was #1 - as it has a decent sized comb and a hen looking butt?

They're all cross breeds, not sure what at all as I brought the eggs cheap for bator practice.

Thanks for the help
