I have a white leghorn which lays double yolk eggs about every other day. One of her eggs was put under the hen which just hatched 5. There were 9 eggs in total, but only 4 hatched. So, I have twins. I put 2 double yolk eggs under the currently sitting hen and am hoping they also hatch. Is this a good idea?

So the double yoker hatched? Are they both in good health? I've heard that It's rare for both to live even if they do hatch.

Unfortunately I don't know how to transfer pics from my old cellphone to my computer in order to post it. I will try to take a picture but can't promise when it will be accomplished. My daughter is visiting in just over a week, perhaps she can do it for me.
