Dropping eggs from the roost..

How common is it? I found one this morning and i'm just curious how ofen others find this.

Not common at all. Are your chickens new to laying? It's the sort of odd thing one might see with pullets just coming into lay.

I had one yesterday from a marans that has been molting and must be about to start laying again.
