Hi, so right now I am incubating several mallard duck eggs and I have a question about one of them. So, last night (day 15) I was candling them and when I was looking at one of them its veins were kind of moving around with the egg and then it looked like some little thing fell of the vein in the egg. I put it quickly back in the incubator because I had no idea what had happened.
When I went back to check on it tonight, a lot of the veins were gone and I thought it was dead. The spot where the vein had messed up was the size of a quarter and completely bare. But, I looked toward the bottom of the egg and there were still some smaller veins and the baby was still moving. I am so confused about what is going on with it. I ´ ve never had anything like this happen before and am not sure if it ´ s going to survive? Does anyone know what or why this would happen? Thanks!
