One thing ti watch for before it gets ti bad like that
You may see a small bruise outside the air cell
If one appears then immediately make a tiny pin hole in the centre of the bruise
Baby was probably in the wrong position and couldn’t pip to get air
Sometimes they start with a small bruise. But if they can’t break out they panic and start hitting all over
Resulting in bleeding out
I’m so sorry this happened to you
It happenes from time to time
Sometimes they make the small bruise we can see and other times they hit a big main vein
Do you have more ready to hatch ?

Wen I saw it was turning gray I waited a bit and then broke a small hole. He was moving but got weak and died. But I did hatch two more chicks and they’re doing good

I think when they got a major vein it is really hard for them to recover
Nothing you could have done
I’m so happy you got a few hatched though

I had three eggs, the other two I had to help hatch and they are just fine
