Duck - strange action after swallowing

Hi, my duck has lost weight and is making a strange action after swallowing. He will hold his neck to his chest and shake from side to side. He is often seen with his neck hunched low and this has lasted for about a month now. I can not see or feel anything stuck in his throat and he seems to be breathing ok. I am adding a little olive oil to his treats just in case something is stuck and using Avio pro to boost vitamins etc. please help as we do not have an avian vet nearby who can help. Thank you in advance
