Duck with bloody nose

Never had this happen before and really not sure how it did.

Poor Blosson has been having issues with her health for a while now but this is just bizarre. I noticed blood on her wing and when i picked her up saw that both nostrils were bloody(not bleeding profusely though). I did pull a small piece of bloody straw from one nostril but it wasn't something that looked like it could cause any damage. I've had birds run around with all kindsof things sticking out of their noses (from digging) and they never had problems.

I am not sure how old Blossom is.

Anyone have any input on this? I'm just baffled.

I would open up her beak and see if there's a puncture wound inside the beak or mouth. Is it still bleeding or did it congeal?

It stopped bleeding and she was acting fine. Maybe she could have just picked up something sharp... really weird though.
