Duckling with out a leg

I have a duckling that was found with its leg missing and now I want to know how long does it take to heal my guess would be three or four days it's only a couple days old at most Palm sized and if so will it survive is there anything I could do for it to help it heal or antibiotics or anything to put on it it seems to be doing okay I have it a little duckling friend so now it's not lonely

its doing really good not growing as fast as I think it should be but I'm not sure what a mallard should be at it's age

Yes almost as good as if it had too legs

Aww bless it’s precious! There was a member some years back that had a wild Mallard visit and it had only one leg. They truly are amazing. Bless you for taking it in ❤
