Duckling with Outtie? HELP??

This baby just hatched and his mom abandoned himbecause his uumbilical cordwas still stuck to the membrane of the egg. HELP!?! What do I do and how do I do it without hurting him??

Sorry for the horrid grammar and spelling.. I was in rather a hurry to get it posted. Anyways, I've got his shell part off but he's still got quite a large umbilical hernia. Or at least that's what I think it is. I could be wrong. So should I try to put it back in or just leave it and hope it heals on its own?

Found this thread that may help, https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/530323/tiny-chick-with-cord-still-attached-updated it says the umbilical cord should just dry up and fall off, try to keep him away from any other birds you have so they don't peck at it, and make sure he doesn't poop on it or anything.
