I've got a female and male pekin ducks which have turned roughly around four months. They've been ranging with my chickens since they were old enough to stay out side. Recently, they've been attacking my flock. Any time one of the girls walks by, one of them will start to shake their head and charge, pursue, and grab hold of the chickens feathers. I've heard that the drakes turn aggressive, but its not just the male.

Are my ducks maturing or just turning into ********??

Oh my! Mine too! Well, it is more the drake. Jojo (they are Pekin too) has been getting a bit testy with the others, but I think it is just because it is mating season. He never caused a lot of harm, and I have never seen it as violent... Except that he is jealous of my dog now. That is another story!
Jojo stopped doing it, it seems. I think it was the addition of other ducks. The ducklings are only about 11-weeks now, but they seem to be the addition that changed his behavior.
