For sure!!

One way to get them to dust bathe somewhere else, is to add ashes or peat or DE in where you think their favorite bath is.

well ya, you ruin it when you add bubbles to the bath!

Chicken are like kids. You can go out and buy/build them the coolest thing to play with/in, and they end up playing with the box or dust bathing in your prized iris beds.

Yep,the "carport" i built them in the pic to have some shade is what they used.I dug up some dirt mixed in some sand for their dust bath area and they never used it.

Here's ours:

Had to finally kick them out of the garden so I built them a 4x4 raised bed just for them...they love it!

I had flowers planted in an old milk pail. I say had since they found it and had a grand ole time.

I made one with dirt, De , sand and ashes (that because we're in Hawaii I had to make in an old bbq

pain in the butt I tell you)
And they will NOT go in the **** thing
