Dying Chicken with Bloated Crop and Shaking Head? Gapeworm?

Help! I have a 5 month old chicken who is dying. Over the last week she has been increasingly listless and lethargic with a bloated crop, losing weight, and constantly shaking her head. It almost looks likes she was getting ready to vomit like she was trying to dislodge something from her throat. From the research I have done, it seems like she might have gapeworm. Do you think it is gapeworm or something else? Unfortunately, I don't think she is going to make it as I was out of town and came home to her condition worsening. Any ideas as to what is causing this issues would be much appreciated. Thank you!

It sounds more like sour crop or impacted crop to me. I've never dealt with it, but you can search for it here on the forum and you'll find quite a bit of information about it. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!
