"This isn't your final asessment, but yes, I will be watching you from time to time. I'll be hunting myself, but will take time to observe your hunting skills." Hawkfeather stretched slightly, loosening up her muscles.

"Their feathers are thick, hard to penetrate with your claws. As long as you avoid their talons and beak though, and their wings..." His voice trailed off "Best to avoid them all together."

Leektail padded over to a warm patch of sun and flopped down in it. He had never felt this peaceful in a long time.

fawnpaw squished it as well, getting a feel for it, then followed her mentor.

He headed into the nursery. "Hello, Dawnpelt." He greeted her, then begun to line the nests with moss.

He chuckled. "The first rule of hunting is staying quiet. Otherwise the prey will get away. But that can wait." he said, exiting the camp. "First we need to find some prey first." He looked around, watching for movement as he walked.

Midnightpaw followed, trying to look for movement too but was too focused on the birds that chirped as they flew overhead.

Midnightpaw's attention snapped back into focus. She tried to mimic the same crouch, though it wasn't as good as Talon's.
