I bought these chicks from Tractor Supply. They were labeled Easter Eggers. When I got them home I looked up Easter Egger chicks online and almost all the pics look like chipmunks. Did I get duped by tractor supply?

We just got a few new chicks from local feed store. We got 1 BO, 1 BR, 1 BA, and 3 EEs. In the past when we've gotten EEs, they've looked like Lil chipmunks, with variety light tan to dark brown. These 3 are all black, with white throats and butts. They do have fluffier cheeks, but just curious if they are actually EE or something else? The other reason for questioning, is that they were supposedly the last 3 EE in store, and in with the BR chicks, so maybe not super accurate at store..lol
No white spots on top of heads like BR chicks. Just curious if anyone had opinions on if EE or what they are?

Just want to add, they are from Cackle Hatchery...

EE that are Ameracauna (or aruacana) based will likely have puffy cheeks, but not all do. They can be any color that chickens come in. Hatcheries sell EE that start with other blue/green laying breeds as well. If they are Cream Crested Leg bar based they may get a tuffed on the head as they grow, but don't have puffy cheeks. Some of the newer hybrids may not have any of these features.

I just wanted to say I have 2 babies that look like these and they’re the only breed we have that I can’t clearly identify!

Hi @Table3D. Just wondering what the yellow/ white chicks look like now that they are a couple of week. I also got a Hoover Easter Egger who looks nothing like any Easter Egger I've seen. But she looks similar to yours but no black on wings.
