Edit: 5 1/2 week old pics(pg4)Barred Rock "baby"

This is one of my 5 (almost 4 week old- 3 days shy) babies! My 3 yr old son's "Baby"

Sadly the only Barred Rock so I have nothing to compare as they grow. What is your best guess... pullet or roo? It developed a crown early which I thought was a roo? but it's still the same pale color so I dunno. I 'think' his/her feet look dark but again, nothing to compare it to.. and tail feathers are so confusing to me! I can't tell narrow from wide I guess

Anyone wanna guess? Again... all the same chick, just different angles.

Looks exactly like my three barred rocks that are the same age, and I ordered girls. So either she is a she, or my three are hes!

I am loving watching them develop! This one has quite the personality.. lol.. Can not stand being alone and is always trying to fly everywhere! But really very sweet and loves to be held and attention! perfect fit to my 3 yr old.. lol

I think that it's a cuckoo maran pullet not a bared rock cause cuckoo marans have bigger beaks it looks just like mine

really? and do the baby pics look the same too? that was what I was 'told' but def up for debate! It has a home regardless so it doesn't matter but interesting!
