Town is very overrated, but I like eating fresh food more than one month of the year. So I go there.

Sounds like we are having the same kind of day! Only I took a break from coffee to give the DH a hair cut. And I had my coffee made for me with vanilla creamer just how I like it. I'm a bit spoiled

Project for the day. . we are making an umbrella stand out of a galvanised bucket for our umbrella out by the stock tank pool.

have finished my work, The rains hit and I stopped. Besides 45 minutes is enough for one day at my age.

I was productive though. I washed and disinfected waterers. (I still have a few to go, but they can wait)..

I fed my teens in the run today (and water)..they are not happy. I am running a special session of "grandpa daycare" tonight and will not be home at sunset to lock them in.

I let the adults out, on the hopes they get high enough in the rafters and roosts to not get eaten by whatever took my birds last week.

I still have to gather eggs, which I hate doing this time of year.

You must get a million eggs a day....

I get alot, 5-6 dozen a day. I know some are hiding them too.

Hey I never saw if you replied to wether you lost any toads in the attack? Did you lose any of them?

Nope. all the toads are safe and sound. I have moved them to a more secure area. I am going to move them all in the next few days to their own coop and run.

He doesn't remember what they were called. But I think he ordered it from burgess catalog.

Thanks after looking them up at Burgess there's a bundle of them out there.
