I agree with all of the above. I also watch to see if it's a place that's frequented by locals...if it's not...I probably won't go in. And they better have soap and paper towel!
(So I can get back out)

There used to be a few steak houses that served peanuts on the table and everyone throws their shells on the floor like an old time saloon type atmosphere. To me it is just nasty.

Not really, you should try it you can meet some interesting people in a bathroom waiting for someone to open the door.

Even more so now that they can be used by both genders

I'm not really all that germ a phobic.in general except when it comes to handling food. But I am kind of a neat freak. I hate clutter. I want everything to have a place it belongs and organised. I despise looking for things I need around the house I want stuff put back where it belongs!
