I needed it for my husband, and for his great aunt.

Husband got it from the hospital during a back surgery. His great aunt got it when a doctor cleaned her ears out, and she began to bleed. She got it again from a hospital stay.
It is always the same! Hospital are the worst places for sics people you be in!

The swings here cut my eggs in more than half too.
It isn't temp swings but declining day length. I'm now down to 10 hours 13 minutes of daylight. A couple years ago, I kept a calendar of daily production from 7 flocks of chickens and included daily high and low temperatures as well as precipitation. There was no correlation between temperature and production. After winter solstice there was a slow but steady increase in spite of some nights dropping well below zero.
People often blame the cold but it just happens to be cold when days are short.

I posted this about a year ago to explain a hen's (and all other animals) response to declining and increasing day length.

And Benny elaborated on some details with this post.

Well, my goats and cows will not like me tonight or this next few days, but rifle season starts in the morning so every critter has to be in the smaller pens by the house for at least the weekend.
Good plan. When I first started deer hunting almost 60 years ago, my dad and I went to the check-in station on opening day just to see what the activity was.
The game warden told us that the first 2 guys to the station shortly after dawn proudly opened their trunk to show the "deer" they had tagged.
However, the trunk contained 2 goats.

Another event that wasn't in Missouri, but around the same time, a game warden had his horse shot out from under him by a licensed deer hunter.

If something moves, some morons will shoot without confirming. I imagine in the former case, they just couldn't tell the difference, even up close.

Ok... Maybe you should correct this website too..

https://www.drugs.com/vancomycin.html

Vancomycin is an antibiotic. When taken by mouth it fights bacteria in the intestines.

Vancomycin is used to treat an infection of the intestines caused by Clostridium difficile, which can cause watery or bloody diarrhea. It is also used to treat staph infections that can cause inflammation of the colon and small intestines.

Oral vancomycin works only in the intestines. This medicine is not normally absorbed into the body and will not treat other types of infection. An injection form of this medication is available to treat serious infections in other parts of the body
It was a site only mentioning oral that threw me. I looked again, and it confirmed it as an IV treatment for MRSA.
