Any idea on when power is back. Our rain starts at 11:00am
Chickens like company.

No idea when power might be back. There there are widespread outages and we're pretty low on their list. Could be days.

Aside from momentary outages last night, we’ve not lost power (yet!) for long. Just in case, I covered the quail, as much as was safe, to keep heat in.
The dog is outside, and I didn’t see anything major. I’ll go out soon.

It looks beautiful even the nuts. No I've never even seen a fresh almond. I did plant a pecan tree in my yard, but I'll probably be dead before it yields any nuts.

Some tarpaper is off of the big coop, the doors on the metal shed are a little messed up, part of the roof on the mini coop is off, and the blue barrel I use for chick feed outside is gone.

Nope. Snow, rain and 8* is the current forecast over the next week. The ice is still too slick for me to walk around without Yak tracks (snow cleats). No way I can put up a ladder.

It is quite funny seeing the birds slide around. As long as they don’t break a leg, I can keep laughing.
