This is a little abandoned EE - that someone literally dumped out of a car at my feet - cross beak - well it will live at my place as a misfit. But gender?

im gonna say roo..........;i think i can see pointy hackle feathers, red comb and the colour says roo to me too (white with red shoulders?) every EE ive had with that colouring has been a roo

Thank you and he is a handsome guy - there had been a cage of bantam EE's and i am thinking these people bought the lot and realized there was a cross beak and dumped it at my feet - what was i to do! I picked him up and he was shaking and he wrapped his neck into mine ! I was a goner

Aw, bless you for taking pity on him and taking him in. He is 100% roo. Even with the small photos, the red leakage in the wing-bow is a dead giveaway.
