Hi! These babies were sold as Ameraucana's but I got them at a feed store so I'm 99% sure they're just EE. Can anyone see any hint of gender on these guys (or girls). I have an inkling that the orange one is a roo but am having a harder time with the other 2. They're roughly 3 to 4 weeks (she said they were about a week when we got them from the store) any clues? Two seem to have pea combs and one has a single comb. Really hoping for at least 1 or 2 to be pullets. I will try to get better pictures of each chick but they're really flighty and hate being picked up and our silkie who's adopted them goes crazy when we try to hold any of them.

Thank you! That would be great if they all are pullets, all though my son would be disappointed because he's hoping the orange one is a rooster
Is the orange one the one on the left of this photo? Funny enough, these two are the ones I’m most confident with. Keep us updated. They sure are cuties. And for the sake of your son, I’ll hope the orange one is a cockerel. 😉

Yes that's the orange one 🤣. Please hope for my sake he's not because I'm not ready for another crower, lol. Our silky rooster is such a good boy he doesn't crow all day and probably only crows after 6 am 3 to 4 times a week... we had a welsummer too a while back and they dueled it out every morning 😒 so I know if we get another roo crowing our silky boy will ne more consistent with that!

Here's some close ups

Do these pictures change any minds? Or most likely still pullets? I've had quite a few chickens in the last 3 years (roughly) and all of them that had this red of a comb at this point were roof's. I have to confess I've only ever had 2 EE and they're both girls so no clue how an EE roo would start turning out.
