I've been inspired this week to try new chicken related items and here is the first of my new offerings.
When I was a kid and it was my job to talk the hens out of their eggs, I always had one black speckled hen that wasn't about to give me her eggs without making a fuss. But I almost always walked away from the coop with a basket full of eggs and more often than not, pecked hands! This is my tribute to that great feeling you get when the egg basket is full and that ornery little hen from my childhood.
It's a microfiber towel, with a brown & white gingham topper that allows it to be hung up. Just a great size towel to keep close in the kitchen.
