Egg in my pocket

I had a large flannel shirt on today, as it's so cold, to gather my eggs and then go shopping. I put one in a breast pocket,forgot about it, and did my shopping in town with egg in tow! It survived all day. I laughed out loud this afternoon as my Mama Red's egg traveled to town and back!

I've put eggs in my pocket before. *Note to self, do not give eggs to 3- year old in oversized rain boots.*

worse things than a egg breaking in a pocket. For some reason my (late) father once put a chocolate bar in his pocket and then did the laundry. What a surprise, and what a job trying to get it washed out of there.

I left chapstick in my pocket, then my dad washed it... PINK!!!

Just an fyi for those that didn't know, always wash out eggs or any other uncooked protein in cold water, hot will cook the proteins to the fibers and leave the crusty stiffening effect. same goes for egg conditioning your hair, I learned that one the hard way! the hard-boiled way!

Fortunately, my egg didn't break so I had it for a snack! My ex-husband left an ink pen in the wash once...what a nightmare.
