Why have my hens started laying eggs at sundown? They were laying early in the day but a few days ago started going to the nesting box at 7 or 8pm? Could this be due to weeks of 100+ temps?

I don't really know, but something that I've noticed with mine, is that they take about 25 or 26 hours between eggs. So every day they get a bit later, until it gets so late that they reset and wait till the morning!
Thank you, that makes perfect sense. I only worry about broken eggs because heaven forbid that they don't all use the same nesting box, lolI don't really know, but something that I've noticed with mine, is that they take about 25 or 26 hours between eggs.
