Why have my hens started laying eggs at sundown? They were laying early in the day but a few days ago started going to the nesting box at 7 or 8pm? Could this be due to weeks of 100+ temps?

I don't really know, but something that I've noticed with mine, is that they take about 25 or 26 hours between eggs. So every day they get a bit later, until it gets so late that they reset and wait till the morning!

Thank you, that makes perfect sense. I only worry about broken eggs because heaven forbid that they don't all use the same nesting box, lol
