Egg not full

Hi all! I’m on my second hatch, and I have a chick that I candled day 18, only fills about half the egg. I can see it moving inside, but it doesn’t look as big as it’s supposed to be by this time. What are your thoughts on the hatch? Does this happen from time to time with a successful hatch?

Do you have a calibrated thermometer added in? Or are you just trusting the incubators reading?
