Just one? Double yolk?
Don't think so. The double yolkers were much larger from the Leghorns. This one is "just" big. I think I found something that they liked. I just don't know what it was.

this thread started because the sizes dropped down. I was thinking the heat, but everyone said, no. So, try something new...

I brew my batch on my kitchen counter. I have never had mold or anything funky happen.
I feed my birds 3 times a day so I always have three containers going. I pour out feed and hold back this much

Then add more feed and water. That's it.
I do not add anything else.
I have been keeping these three containers going for a long time...no need to wash them...I don't think.
I think because I hold back some from each container each day it kicks start the batch and it is ready the next day.

I'm not sure what happen with yours but I would try it again but only add water. I think it takes about 3 days for mine to get going good if I need to start from scratch again.
