They sure do! I feel like I should try to sell it for concrete! I am hopeful that the plug coming away yesterday has made a difference because this morning her feathers were fluffy and dry. they have been for the entire week covered in sticky white paste but today she's got a fluffy butt!!!It looks like she's leaking urates, that may resolve once she heals more. It's good that the plug finally worked loose. Hopefully no more will build up.
To help urates from sticking to the skin and around the vent, you can try apply a thin layer of oil to see if that helps it roll off. Urates really stick and harden too.
