How long after a hen hatches chicks does she start laying eggs again

Well she has to raise the chick which might take anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months. Im not quite sure how long afterwards will she actually start to lay eggs again

My experience is 8 weeks. After that she kicks the chicklets out of the nest and will resume laying.
