I live in Haywood county North Carolina if anyone wants a big beautiful Egyptian Fayoumi! I am willing to take a reasonable drive to his new home.
Hes timid around humans but very territorial and protective over his hens. He is a good rooster but I live in town and even though my neighbors "love" the sound of his crow- He is driving me crazy being 10ft from my house. The typical story of "he was supposed to be a hen". .
This breed has some great qualities and for those who hatch their eggs, this could be a good immune booster for the flock!
Also, he comes from Blue House Farms here in NC. A licensed breeder chicken dealer :D
If interested, Ill send pictures!

OMG! He is gorgeous!

Can you keep him until the city forces you to get rid of him?

If all else fails ;) a picture of him at your local feed stores if they will let you post it on a corner of a wall or at the cash register might work. There are state threads here that tend to help for rehoming.

He is truely sexy... My little Leghorns would swoon over him!

Thats a good idea!

Ya, he is fancy. I dont even feel like those pictures do him any justice. I did look into crow collars. .

My neighbors like him. ITs us in the house. He crows for four hours straight, non stop. I guess when its winter we will have the windows shut :)

I would love to have him but live in WV. I'm planning on ordering some soon (in the spring)

Tempting. There is always great camping/hiking up that way!
Let me know if you come this way! I have 3 spoiled Dominiques and a barred rock and the silver laced wyandotte I rescued from some dogs on the roof of a house! I was hoping to order my egyptians by now but the brooder & chicken tractor took longer to build due to rain! I'm putting an electric fence up so they can free range in a protected area.
