Electric poultry netting question:-/

I'm putting up my electric fence today. I am putting it like a yard around the chicken yard to get them used to it. We are building a mobile coop to move around the property. Excited to make this work. Crossing fingers as I have a few ornery hens!

Did you finally ave success?

Even with that perimeter, release them late in the evening to keep them from drifting too far away from coop. Other details lacking but I assume birds ill be in coop a least a couple days and nights prior to initial release.

I normally range. We have land.

When I switch to the mobile coop I will move everyone at night.

They were not pleased with the confine of a smaller space than several acres, but they didn't fly out. Success!

I must say I am thrilled with the ease of set up. I am encouraged that this will work well for our land and our hens.
