electronic thermostat

on sportsman 1502 not working . It gets warm like 120 and does not shut off. Any suggestions except to buy a new one ? I know this incubator had set unused for awhile.

Can't help you on fixing it, but if you do have to buy a new thermostat I would check out Spyder robotics. They are mainly marketed towards reptiles and are a bit pricey, but they are incredibly accurate and seem to last forever. I have seven of them running right now. It's a proportional thermostat and accurate to less than .9 degrees. I trust them with some very expensive reptile eggs and have never lost a single fertile egg.

I did speak with the techs and they said I probally need a new one , but I know there are some really smart people on here . So thought they may have a way to get it going again.

I am thinking it has a stuck part from sitting unused for awhile.
