Good job. There could be up to half a liter of fluid possibly. Has it helped with her comb color and breathing?

It seems to have helped with her comb, but she still seems to have a little labored breathing

I wasn’t able to do another draining today, but her comb hasn’t gotten blue again yet, and her breathing is still a bit labored but other than that she’s eating drinking and pooping fine

The second draining is done, we got another 60cc but she’s still not empty, so I’ll look for improvements. The last draining hole is not infected and she was a lot more calm for this one

I think some recommend removing small amounts, while others including Casportpony remove as much as there is. My one hen leaked for hours after I drained her. But would always offer electrolytes to replace the lost ones from draining. Her eyes look bright.

I just did a third draining, I noticed that she had filled back up since the last on and we took out 180 cc she recovered really fast and her breathing seems better after it. I let her out of her cage because with how fast she filled up I didn’t know how much longer she has since draining only does so much.
