Pretty sure no winner here due to lack of plans but perhaps someone will get an idea or 2 for their own coop from these pictures. I know I got many ideas and questions answered from looking at many coops designs here.

For those that don't think they have "winning" designs, please do continue to submit them anyway. The whole point of the contest is to get people to think about taking pictures and submitting their coop designs... so keep up the good work!!

Regarding a deadline: Zahboo is correct. Some coop design contests get LOTS of submissions quickly and others take a while. We usually choose a deadline once we feel there are a good number of submissions. We'll give you plenty of advanced notice.

We got my coop/run finished after the last contest and I was still trying to figure out how to make my BYC page. So here it is, our coop, and it has been a blast watching the chickens and spoiling them rotten! They really perk up when they hear me come out the back door! I sometimes think they are feathered pigs!!

Okay so here is our submission page as we have progressed over the past 6 weeks. The girls have now been living in there for about 2-3 weeks and so far no notices of complaints yet.

I sit and drool over other coops and wishing I could or would have but if nothing else we are having a blast as a family learning together. Every day the girls bring 3 generations together as one, tell me what else does that in this day and age.
