I ordered pullets. This little jerk like to try to attack me when we go into the coop. Is it a roo? About 18 weeks. I did order from Hoovers

I've got Orps - 8 weeks and 3 days old.
Yours has the red comb and wattle of my buff here (photo attached, next to my black Orpington - same age - for comparison).
This buff also has an occasional and deliberate peck when he's not enjoying something, whereas my other two (with much paler combs and barely-there wattles) are very placid.
At 4 weeks, though, my black one produced a very red comb and wattles, which have now subsided a LOT, as you can see. But, "she" is huge and I'm wondering if she is male - but just not the alpha.
They are a nightmare, aren't they? I'm waiting for a crow or an egg.
What are your saddle feathers like? They might start coming through a bit pointed - in which case it's a male - but 11 weeks might still be a bit too early for that.
