am wondering if anyone has put a drop in an incubator to kill bacteria when eggs are hatching. This is my first hatch and I didn't know how crazy careful with germs you had to be and now I am nervous. Thanks!

Hi, welcome to BYC!

I haven't hatched yet. But most people remove quiters and clean between hatches. I wouldn't use EO because respiratory systems are quite sensitive on chickens. So if you can smell it, they can smell it big time...

Also, nature isn't sterile. IMHO

But you may get more suggestions from someone who hatches regularly still.
