what kind of mixes will you have? Not yet, but I should New Years Day. All my chickens are running together right now, including the Basques, so I should have several Basque X chicks in about three wks. : )

There are numerous possibilities! Lets see there are Coronation & Light Sussex, LF Black Orpingtons, Olive Eggers and the Basques all running together...so I have no clue what they'll look like!what kind of mixes will you have?
Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing what the chicks look like.Wow you will have an interesting hatch there Mrs. Fluffy Puffy. I really like some of the crosses they are so interesting and can be so pretty, just look a Naturespace's lovely EO X's
I have three Basques, an Ameracauna, Buff Orp, Australorp, Blue Cochin and a very ditzy Cuckoo Marans. I got lucky and only have one male (that I'm sure of so far). They are all 11 weeks old. I am willing to keep the Basque rooster until he starts crowing in a few months. Hopefully I can find him a good home by February! I'll check out he other thread and maybe there will be hope for "Elvis" yet!
So far they have gotten along really well with the guineas. I have them in with 2 guineas and a gamefowl hen.Congrats on you birds. They are nice looking. How do they get along with the guineas?
