Wanted: Zilarra type rooster. We are DESPERATELY searching for a Zilarra-type purebred rooster for our breeding program. We have three REALLY nice Marrduna roosters and could trade one of them for one an outside roo. Would prefer NPIP, but necessary. Anyone have anything that could help our program?

Got the results back from the necropsy on our cockerel. They said the really couldn't find anything wrong with him. In the notes they said the bird was in good shape.
They found moderate Myocarditis which is probable cause of death but not conclusive. Nice to know it was nothing infectious or avoidable!

And more Zilarra.
It similar to the Light (Sussex, Brahma) and Silver Columbian (Wyandotte, Plymouthrock) colors.
It is annoying not to know for sure, but ruling out anything spreading to your others is good news.
