Ever get chickens causing trouble in duck water?

I was discussing plans for ducks needing water that drains (unless he wanted to bail every week himself). He doesn't want to bail at all, let alone often, but he's worried if we have chickens and ducks together, the chickens will poop in the pool enough to foul it up despite the draining and might cause the whole thing to explode.

Anyone with both have trouble with chickens ruining duck ponds?

The chickens aint getting in the water so no poop in water from them. The ducks will poop in it all the time. You have to change the water one way or another.
