Hi- Today we have Eye-named eggs from a local farm. A little girl named Isabella owns the chickens. (Well her parents do, but they give her the credit.) She is the reason I gave these chickens "I" names. These eggs are different than all the other eggs I have hatched-along with. (Not related.) There are true blue eggs, green, tan and even some pink. Gray, and one white. They have hatched blue feathered chicks before, so I can hope. I have set 36 of these in the past and hatched out 34.
I drew faces and written names on the eggs all i names. I like to keep track of who hatched and who didn't, rather than just say 2 blue eggs hatched and 1 tan, that kind of thing. Plus this way they can be the little souls they are. Red dot means chosen. Black X is clear. They are all developing so you do not have to ask, if you see a black X they were clear. Blue x means they developed but quit.
