Eye swollen? White stuff?

Hello,
I have a RIR hen whos eye I noticed was swollen today upon further inspection I noticed in the swollen eye there is a white bubble of sorts. Her other eye is not swollen nor does it have the white like her swollen eye. What is it and what do I do to treat it. She is healthy otherwise as far as eating, drinking, pooping, and beghavior wise is also normal.

wash it real good and put some Vaseline on it

Vasaline on an eye? Are you sure that is safe? I don't think so.

Hi got chick with bad eye is blind but scab on it and allot of white stuff I been carefully takeung it out with tweezers the eye was puffy and red when I clean the eye it went down but looks bad again I put chicken eye medcien on it don't help. Should I use vasaline too

Then you go into your albums and pick the one you want and it will add a link and you then hit the reply button. I went to the vet an she perscribed me medicine and her eye is already back to normal. She did have an eye infection as said by runt325.
