Got our first "fart" egg today..

^^^ All laid the same day, from the same aged Marans.

I've never had a fart egg that didn't have a yolk, fwiw. Normally, we just crack them open and eat them without taking pics.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't know about these before today! Mine was interesting to find out of the nesting boxes on the ground outside the coop. I had threw cracked corn on it and noticed the chickens not wanting to eat any in that spot - low and behold I find my Easter Egger left a present!

Just got my first fart egg as well. It was so tiny and cute. It is about the size of a quarter. We have been handling chickens for several years now and I grew up on a small farm I cannot remember ever seeing one or hearing about it.

I have a chicken that lays one daily. She doesn’t lay normal eggs, only these little yolk less ones. Lots of egg white omelets coming our way
