While we're talking about projects...here are some pics of my F1 buff Orp / Faverolles cockerel that I just took last week....

Obviously I've got a ways to go with this project, but I really like this cockerel. Only one of the buff girls has just gotten back to laying after raising babies, the other two girls haven't yet as I just took their babies away on Monday (your trio, Paulo). Will be incubating everything I get from these for a bit...

Wow - that last one is sure weird...it's almost like he has some frizzled gene in there that's only showing on part of him...

On the other two...I really don't know...I haven't seen that. Maybe someone else will pipe up, or maybe email the pics to Dick and see what he says...

No relation, she came from eggs I got from Misty.

Hmmm, OK, thanks, Just thought to ask since Bluey and his partner were in that group, all others Salmon.....Was working on other things so only grabbed a few eggs to hatch for fun....didn't worry about parents at the time...now i wish i had paid better attention....It would be neat to figure if i could replicate it....

Do you have a pic? I wonder if it's one of those wacky half boy / half girl colored ones that others have had. I haven't seen any of those come from my birds, but they could have come from the same gene pool....
