Red blob is what I call a love dot. It means the egg is fertile.

Hahaha! Well I hope I find more Love Dots in a few days.

This is from my own chickens...one day incubator...

I added these 2 to the incubator...

The 2 hens eggs I wanted to add did not contribute today.

No blobs and it's floating at the top of the egg (the pointiest part). I don't know what you mean by eye. I don't think it's a yolk either because it's floating at the top.

The round end is the top of an egg. when setting eggs it is pointy end down.

I did my eggtopsy today on the 9 eggs I removed. The embryos looked like they quit on about day 7, coincidentally the first time I candled. ALL of the embryos were stuck to the top of the shell, as in they were literally hanging from the air sack. And I swear I didn’t see blood rings when I pulled them or cracked them open. Is this normal? I’ve searched here and googled but can’t find an answer
