My neighbor came and got some of my chicks.

This one may be a blue bell egger. It is #12 and to young to go to the neighbor.
I cleaned out the bottom of the incubator and the wire with vinegar, and scrub brush. I wiped down the top, (what like with a cloth?) And let sit in the sun for 1/2 hr. now I am heating it back up for tomorrows lockdown.

Finally got picture of my friends barnyard mixes that are the parents of the eggs I rescued. I asked for them so y'all could see what ill be getting in the chicks. The father is an ee I know that much, but im unaware of the mixes in the mama's.

So the chick at the top of the pic is the one that needed a full assist FBCM. That baby got slathered with coconut oil and I'm still trying to gently clean it and crusty membrane off. Despite being unfluffed she still seems way smaller. Do you think I accidentally received a bantam egg somehow? Or is she a runt? She is eating, pooping and drinking. I gave her some raw egg yolk. Tomorrow will be day 3. Hope she continues to improve.

The most important thing is that she's doing well They look much smaller when they hatch and have no fluff. Was the egg smaller?

Is coming one od my Australorp eggs has just slopped and i have one (possibly more) internal pip It scared me! That's too soon! Will they be ok? Do silky eggs take a bit less time to develop? Their air cells seem much bigger and slopped.

Just found this thread! I'm also incubating a couple of eggs!
6X of chicken eggs (On day 2)
5X of quail eggs (On different days, 1 on Day 14 and 4 on Day 9)
Also, does anyone know what I should do for lockdown with different hatch days? I don't know what I'm going to do.

Hatching is like Christmas, and even getting a box of shipped eggs is like Christmas.
