I got some eggs through ebay. Somehow ended up with 24. Out of all the eggs and candling, I had 20 make it to lockdown. I only lost 2 in batch one and 2 in batch 2. Batch 1 and 2 were 3 days apart in setting.

I still have all except 3. 2 of the babies ended up with severe crossbeak and needed to be culled. I gave 2 to my neighbor but one came back (which I reintegrated) and they said they lost the other one.

Needless to say even shipped eggs can have an amazing hatch. I didn't expect so many to make it either

Sad news, at today's candling, none of the shipped eggs developed. They have been tossed. These were (per MPC) an accidental double ship.

Now, onto BRIGHTER AND BETTER NEWS, 16/18 eggs seem to be on track!!

Please send extra cheers and energy to @Nero70002's Saoirse and @BobStuart's Holden! they look a little behind compared to everyone else but I am optimistic!
